Who we are
rgvseptic.com ("Valley Septic Help", "we", "us") is an information and referral website for septic tank pumping, repair and installation in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas. We do not perform any work. When you call the number on this site, your call is connected to an independent local provider. This policy explains what information that involves.
Information we collect
When you call. Our phone provider records the phone number you call from, the date, time and length of the call, the general area of your number, and, if you leave one, your voicemail message. Calls may be recorded for quality purposes.
When you visit the website. Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs: IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. We use them only to keep the site working and secure.
What we do not collect. This site has no forms, no accounts and no payments. It does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and it does not use cookies at all at the time of this update.
How we use it
- To connect your call to a local provider who can help you.
- To check call quality and to see how many calls each area receives.
- To keep the website working and protect it from abuse.
Who we share it with
- The local provider who receives your call. They see your phone number and hear your call, and may call you back about your request. Their own privacy practices apply to what they do after that.
- Service providers that run the site for us: our phone provider (Twilio) and our website host (Netlify). They process information only to provide their service.
- When the law requires it, for example in response to a valid legal request.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
How long we keep it
Call records and recordings are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted, unless we need them longer to resolve a dispute or the law requires it. Website logs are kept for the period set by our host.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what information we have about your calls, to correct it or to delete it. Email contact@rgvseptic.com from any address, include the phone number you called from, and we will reply within 45 days. Texas residents may have additional rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act; we honor these requests for everyone, wherever they live.
If you do not want your call recorded, you can hang up before the call connects, or ask the provider to contact you another way.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Important changes will be noted on this page.
